Yosemite National Park, one of the first wilderness parks in the United States, is best known for its waterfalls, but within its nearly 1,200 square miles, you can find deep valleys, grand meadows, ancient giant sequoias, a vast wilderness area, and much more. Yosemite, is a must see site. Yosemite receives most of its precipitation in the months of January, February, and March. Summers are typically warm and dry. Spring and fall are transitional months, when warm, sunny days can suddenly become stormy.
